I write a weekly post over on Kōsa Press in which I feature science fiction art and artists. I also have a similar weekly post over on my blog but for fantasy art. Starting this week I will be sharing those posts here.

Our first sci-fi artist is Eddie Del Rio who hails from San Francisco. He works as a concept designer at Lucasfilm and he is simply brilliant.

Eddie grew up in the 70s liking two things a lot: Star Wars and comic books. A trip to a mall one day and his eyes catching some Star War art mind-pummelled him onto the path that would eventually attract interest from Lucasfilm. After high school, Eddie attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco and during his Junior year there Lucas Arts plucked him from class. The rest is history, as they say.

You can view the rest of the collection here. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
